Seawind 1160

Seawind's brand new 38ft sailing cat, the Seawind 1160 has just been launched and is proving to be an immediate success. The new Seawind 1160 combines some of the best features of the earlier Seawind 1000 and Seawind 1200 sailing catamarans. Winner of 2005 Australian Sailboat of the Year. The Seawind 1160 creatively blends key concepts of other popular Seawind models to create a design that successfully combines the huge living space and allround visibility of the Seawind 1000, with the sleeping accommodation, luxurious fitout and security of the lockable Saloon featured on the Seawind 1200. Thanks to the innovative TRIFOLDING DOOR system that converts the separate saloon and cockpit separated by a door, into a huge living and entertaining space with the doors folding and stowing away into the targa above.

Seawind 1000XL

The Seawind 1000XL is Australias most successful cruising catamaran with the unique combined saloon & cockpit. This model has sailed all around the globe with many offshore passages successfully sailed including through the South Pacific, Hawaii and Alaska. In 1994, Seawind Catamarans launched the first Seawind 1000. A 33 foot cruising catamaran with a unique design and modern lines. In that same year, the Seawind 1000 won the “Australian Cruising Boat of the Year”, the first time such an award had been bestowed on a Catamaran. Since then over 100 boats have travelled down the Seawind 1000 production line and into the hands of their new owners, anxious to begin cruising on their new dream boat.

Seawind 1050 Resort

The Seawind 1050 Resort is a purpose built day-charter catamaran, with up to 30 + 2 passengers. This model continues to be a work-horse for resort and tourist operators. The Seawind 1050 Resort has been specially developed to suit the needs of commercial operators who are looking for a safe, cost effective and passenger friendly vessel, ideally suited to day charter excursions. It is designed and built to meet Australian D survey and can carry up to 30 passengers and two crew, depending on area of proposed operation. She is ideal for diving operators, whale and dolphin watching or simply taking tourists to explore coral reefs and sheltered sandy bays

Due to heavy demand for other catamarans in the Seawind range production of the 850 has been suspended. It may be restarted in the future.
